You may have noticed that I had a little trouble with it in the middle, but sometimes you’ll have that with the first chug of the day. This is not one of Stone’s big hoppy beers and so normally it would go down pretty easy. Having said that, it’s dry-hopped so it’s not your typical amber pushover.
How Much: 6
My local liquor store carries this for $9.49 for a six pack, though I bought it as a single. A fair price, though I’d definitely go with one of their “bigger” beers for that price.
Very decent, though not particularly my style. I usually find amber ales to be a little bit boring, but this one has enough hops flavor to make it interesting and is definitely one of the finer examples of the style that i’ve had. Stone makes some real fantastic hop-monsters, so this one is kind of the little brother, but sometimes even a little brother can surprise you.
Levitation is a year-round offering and Stone Brewing distributes to 41 states.
