Sam Adams Boston Brick Red Ale Beer Review

Brick Red Ale
Samuel Adams – Boston, MA
ABV: 5.2%

CHUG Rating:
Chuggability: 6
Boston Brick Red Ale is a fairly thick, semi-heavy beer. It’s only toting a 5.2% ABV, but it’s still a lot to handle
How Much: 6
You can’t find this beer in bottles. It’s only sold in bars on tap, so you can’t find a cheap 6-pack. It’s around 5-6$ a pint in the bahhhs
Uhhh…Taste: 7
I wanted so bad to give this an 8, to rep the hometown pride, but it just falls short. The story is cool, brewed specifically for Boston bars, you can’t find it anywhere else, but the taste is just lacking a bit. I’m not a huge Red Ale fan, but this one is beter than most that I’ve had. It’s sweet, but not too sweet, with a good hop aroma
Gettability: 1
I’ve said it 69 times already, you need to be in a bar to get this, and that bar has to be in the city. Sometimes chugs bring us out of the comfort of our own home and we need to perform in public. This was one of those chugs..

Music: None, I was in a bar. But you can spot special guests in this post, some great friends of mine, fellow beer drinkers. Great guys doing big things.
