Rogue Brewing Yellow Snow IPA Beer Review

Yellow Snow IPA
Rogue Brewing Co. – Newport, OR
ABV: 6.2%

CHUG Rating:
Chuggability: 5
This IPA is tough to chug. It’s not as bad as you’d think Yellow Snow would be, but it’s strong and carbonated. It’s got such a clean finish that it’s tough to chug, this left my eyes watering
How Much: 3
Unless my eyes are deceiving me, I’m showing that I paid $15.99 for this 6-pack. I’d pay that for something with a higher rating, but this is insanity for an average IPA
Uhhh…Taste: 5
I understand that some people love a really high hop content and that’s it, but not me. I love my hops, don’t get me wrong, but I like a good malt balance, and this beer doesn’t have it. It’s got a strong almost sour hop taste with nothing to back it up, it’s almost just hopped water. Might do it for some….but not for me
Gettability: 10
All 50 states year round, you can’t really beat that!

Overall Rating:   5.2

Dropping the Ill beat: Talib Kweli – “Ms. Hill”
