The beer itself was an easy-chugger, however I did find out that it’s a lot harder to chug a beer if you can’t see it.
How Much: 5
I bought this as a single, but my local liquor store typiclaly sells this for $9.99 a six pack. Odell makes fantastic beers, and this lowish rating is a reflection of that. It’s good, but many of their other beers are simply better.
I’m generally weary of winter seasonals because it seems like there’s always an abundance of “spices” and other bullshit I don’t like. This is a very straight-forward english-style ale with a smooth hoppy finish. Doesn’t taste like cinnamon or coriander or pumpkin or any of that horrible shit that seems to come with cold weather and amen for that.
Isolation Ale is a seasonal offering (winter) and Odell Brewing distributes to 10 Rocky Mountain states.
