“Homebrews32 chugged Punkin down without a problem, it must be easy!” – Every Person Ever

Wrong. This is a big 7.0% spicy pumpkin brew. Dogfish never holds back, but neither do we. I wouldn’t suggest chugging it, but I would definitely suggest buying it. Go to the store, now, before fall beers are replaced with holiday offerings
How Much: 6
4-pack alert. Punkin is offered up at $8.99 for a 4-pack, I suppose that isn’t awful, making a 6-pack around 12 bones. Worth it for this delicious fall option from Dogfish Head
Uhhh…Taste: 8
Ohh that’s the stuff. Dogfish is a brewery that isn’t looking to fit into any molds, and they prove it with Punkin. It has a light pumpkin taste, but is mostly dominated by spices and roasted malts. It tastes like a brown ale or a porter, with the spices added to make it a “fall beer”. It’s slightly bitter up front, but finishes more on the malty side with a thin head but a clean dry medium mouthfeel. Can’t tell that it’s 7% at all, and because of that, we have to Stamp it!
Gettability: 4
Punkin is rockin it’s way onto shelves across 28 US states this fall

Overall Rating:   8.5
