Great Divide Denver Pale Ale Review

Great Divide DPA

Denver Pale Ale
Great Divide Brewing Company
Denver, CO
ABV: 5.5%

Chuggability: 8
It didn’t put up much of a fight, which is about what I’d expect from this style of beer.
How Much: 5
I bought this as a single but my local liquor store sells it for $9.99 per six-pack. Pretty standard price for a pretty standard pale ale. There are plenty of beers I’d prefer at that price point, but I wouldn’t say I was disappointed, really.
Uhhh…Taste: 6
Fairly enjoyable. It had enough hops to let you know you’re drinking a pale ale, but lacked the bitterness you’d find in a good IPA. Didn’t really wow me in any specific area, but I’d drink it again if there were few other options.
Gettability: 7
Denver Pale Ale is a year-round offering and Great Divide distributes to 27 states. South Carolina is one of them. So is Alaska.

Overall Rating:   6.4
