OK so I barely got the rating out before my 6 Seconds was up, but don’t let that fool you, this is an easy friggin chug. Agave Wheat is only 4.2% ABV…prime chugging percentage. The only thing slowing me down here was the built in mustache on the shades. Sometimes it’s more about how you look than how good you are at your job, as long as you still get the job done. So if Agave Wheat was a higher ABV, or rated higher on our taste scale, it would pull up this price category a ton because this little ditty was only 10.99$ per 6-pack. Not too shabby.
Breckenridge is serving up a pretty smooth brew here with Agave Wheat. It’s rocking a very low carbonation with a mellow mouthfeel. You can taste the typical wheat flavor but it’s muted a bit by a slightly fruity / sweet lingering taste, no doubt due to the addition of the agave. It’d be a decent summer brew, and maybe if the ABV was cranked up a bit it would have rated a bit higher, but I was somewhat unimpressed
It doesn’t need to be the summer for you to enjoy an Agave Wheat, because Breckenridge is distributing this brew to 33 states year round. For some reason they avoid the west coast. Our sources show that they basically distribute from the Rockies all the way to the east coast, only excluding a few states
