It’s nice and easy on the esophagus. You can chug it like a light beer without having to endure the pain and agony of a light beer. Anytime an IPA goes down this smoothly, you know you’re in for a treat.

I paid $10.99 for a 6-pack of this while back in Iowa visiting relatives. Unfortunately, Colorado isn’t one of the states they distribute to at this point. This is on the upper end of 6 pack prices, anything much more expensive than this is usually relegated to a 4-pack. It’s worth it, though. Sometimes you have to throw another dollar or two down and treat yourself to a great beer.

Oh yeah, that’s the stuff. This has all the qualities I enjoy in an India Pale Ale. A big, crisp hop flavor, an alcohol content that’s twice as high as it tastes and a finish that’s smoother than a silk bidet. This reminds me a lot of Odell’s IPA, which is a staple in my beer fridge. I always get a couple of sixers of Two Hearted when I arrive in Iowa, and I rarely have any left when I leave. Hopefully they start shipping some out my way.
Gettability: 6
Two Hearted Ale is a year-round offering distributed to 19 States. If it’s available near you, don’t hesitate to grab a 6-pack.
